Our Mission
We train people from all walks of life to advocate on behalf of foster children in our community.
The mission of CASA is to provide foster children in Bledsoe, Grundy, Marion and Sequatchie Counties with a trained volunteer who will advocate on their behalf while they reside in foster care. Our volunteer advocates identify needs, make recommendations to the family court and provide these children with a steady, consistent adult presence during this difficult, and often tumultuous, time in their young lives.
“Being a CASA Advocate has changed my life. I know that I am the first adult in her life that she has been able to depend on. I have followed her to three foster homes and each time I visit she thanks me for ‘finding her.’ It is heartbreaking. Then I get to share updates about her in court with the judge. It makes me proud when I am able to share her progress. She has come so far!”

Our Impact in 2022
This past year, the pandemic changed the world and affected so many. It was especially difficult for foster children. Their isolation and separation from friends, family, and school was traumatic and underscored their vulnerabilities. Throughout this chaos, one thing remained steady for child in our foster care system. Their CASA. These amazing volunteers never missed a birthday, graduation or countless other millstones.
